About this Opportunity
Expressions of interest are now open for Canadian arts PRESENTERS looking to receive financial support to attend the Bienal Internacional de Danza de Cali in Cali, Colombia, from November 9 to 17, 2025.
The Bienal Internacional de Danza de Cali, a project led by the Asociación para la Promoción de las Artes (Proartes), promotes dialogue between the various genres, generations, and experiences of dance in Colombia. Since its creation in 2013, the Cali International Dance Biennial has brought together over 4,250 dancers from different parts of the world who have participated in 255 activities and presentations across Cali in programs that have gathered more than 224,000 attendees.

- To assist in knowledge transfer across generations
Eligibility Criteria
Presenters must meet the following criteria:
- Must have previous experience hosting international work
- Must have the human and financial resources to program international work
- Demonstrate the ability to return home and champion the work you have seen to your region and network
- Must have the capacity to build relationships across networks in Canada to promote international projects
- Must have the knowledge of the Canadian performing arts sector to able to act as an ambassador for Canadian artists on the international scene
- Must be willing, and can demonstrate, a willingness to encourage international exchange and collaborations
- Must represent an organization that holds a CAPACOA membership
Additional Information
CAPACOA will be responsible for:
- Airfare from Canada to Cali, Colombia
- 7 nights’ accommodations
- Organization of travel arrangements
- Coordination of meetings and schedule during the event
Each PRESENTER, will be responsible for:
- $1000 contribution towards airfare and hotel costs
- All ground transportation within Canada and Colombia
- Daily per diem
- Submitting a final report to CAPACOA
- A valid Canadian passport with at least six (6) months of validity left
