Applications are now open to participate in the research phase of the RCR project’s second field study, Trialing Membership Offers!
For this first phase, we are seeking performing arts organizations that have previously implemented or are currently running membership programs. Selected participants will be invited to take part in interviews with our university research team to explore the successes and challenges of membership models, examine the balance between transactional and relational approaches, assess how these programs create value for members, and evaluate their effectiveness in fostering loyalty.
The data collected through these interviews will inform the development of a handbook of recommendations for approaching membership, which will be shared with the broader performing arts community. This handbook will also lay the groundwork for the second phase of the field study, the experiment phase, during which a new call for applications will invite performing arts organizations to pilot test these recommendations through innovative membership models.
Compensation will be offered to organizations selected to participate.
