Are you part of a performing arts organization and eager to exchange ideas about audience loyalty, affiliation, and engagement, but often short on time? Join the Loyalty Labs!
Offered through the Re-imagining Customer Relationships (RCR) project, Loyalty Labs is a facilitated learning community designed to help arts organizations in Canada and the U.S. strengthen customer loyalty through innovative marketing and programming strategies.
Designed, facilitated, and hosted by WolfBrown, a U.S.-based research and consulting firm whose work with the National Arts Centre inspired the RCR project, the labs are offered free of charge to members of CAPACOA, Orchestras Canada (OC), the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT), and the Association for Opera in Canada (AOC).
What are the Loyalty Labs?
Loyalty Labs is an online platform featuring a series of discussion boards where users can share posts, images, and links about their successes, challenges, and insights related to customer relations in the performing arts sector.
The platform is organized into five “Labs,” or main discussion boards, each focused on a distinct approach to audience engagement.
- Membership & Affiliations;
- Social Initiators;
- Taste Communities (adult learning opportunities);
- Programming Frames;
- and Presentation Formats.
In addition to the discussion component of the Labs, members can access case studies from WolfBrown’s customer relations research, as well as RCR research briefs that offer deeper insight into each topic.
How to Join
Enrolling in Loyalty Labs is as simple as joining a social network: all you need is your name, email address, and a password.
To get started, click the “Choose Your Plan” button at the top of the page. Scroll down to the section titled “Canadian Service Organizations,” select the free membership under CAPACOA (or your corresponding arts service organization), and follow the prompts to create your account. Once you’ve registered, you’re ready to start participating in Loyalty Labs!
If multiple people from your organization would like to join, each person will need to create their own individual account.
NOTE: Profiles are set to private and do not include a profile picture by default. To connect more easily with other members, you can upload a profile picture and adjust your privacy settings under “My Account.”
Check out the video below for a tutorial on how to register, access the Labs, and set up your profile. It’s super quick and easy!
Several members and staff from CAPACOA, PACT, OC, and AOC, are already active in the Labs and post regularly. We would be delighted to have you join the community and help strengthen a shared knowledge base for the benefit of the Canadian performing arts sector as a whole!
If you have any questions or encounter any challenges during registration, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Julia Felgner at [email protected].
