Canadian artists are invited to seize a unique opportunity to expand their reach into international markets. Expressions of Interest are now open for artists to attend Circulart in Medellín, Colombia from June 6-9, 2024. This renowned event serves as a cultural platform for music, bringing together arts presenters and music industry professionals from Latin America and around the world.

- Event Dates: June 6 – 9, 2024
- Travel Dates: June 4 – 10, 2024
- Location: Medellín, Colombia
- Participant Contribution (if selected): $1000 (Artists are required to apply for funding support from the Canada Council for the Arts, and/or their provincial arts organization to assist with this participation cost.)
- Notification of Selection: May 8, 2024
Circulart is more than just a conference; it’s a vibrant hub for music professionals and enthusiasts alike. Alongside showcases and business meetings, Circulart offers a space for reflection and connection, attracting a diverse mix of audiences and industry professionals.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Are representative of culturally diverse groups not generally represented on major stages, especially priority groups;
- Have been selected to showcase at regional and/or national showcase events and conferences;
- Have had recent important bookings at festivals and events;
- Have released new music within the past two years or plan to release in 2024;
- Have shown that they are ready for the next steps for touring and attending important international conferences, given history and experience at local and regional conferences.
