April 11, 2017 – After consultation and research reports published earlier this year by Canadian Heritage and Canada Council for the Arts, CAPACOA and Strategic Moves are now thrilled to release their own assessment of the digital question from the perspective of performing arts presentation. 

March 9, 2017– Much happened on the digital file in the last month. First, RIDEAU held a day-long forum, alongside La Bourse. Then Canadien Heritage released the consultation report on Canadian Content in a Digital World, and Canada Council did the same with their reports on Arts in a Digital World.

March 6, 2017 – Showcasing the regional diversity of a country as vast as Canada can be a daunting task. But two presenters in Camrose, Alberta, took upon themselve to prove it’s not unsurmountable.

January 11, 2017 – CAPACOA and RIDEAU are pleased to announce that the jury for the PCBP gave out last December financial support to 18 of its members.

November 21, 2016 – The inaugural edition of CAPACOA @ CINARS came to a conclusion on Saturday, November 19, with the closing gala dinner of the CINARS Biennale. The finale to this innovative partnership was enhanced with the presentation of several awards.

November 5, 2016 – At Ontario Contact, Peterborough MPP Jeff Leal met with members of the CAPACOA, IPAA and Ontario Presents to formally congratulate the three partners on receiving a $75,000 Seed grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

October 17, 2016 – Michele Decottignies, for The Deaf, Disability & Mad Arts Alliance of Canada and panelist at CAPACOA @ CINARS asks the question:, “Why is “art” missing from a search of “disability art” in the largest database in the world?”
