Advocacy
- CAPACOA runs national advocacy campaigns through the #FutureOfLIVE coalition and the Canadian Arts Coalition.
- CAPACOA offers input to the government on your behalf, either as part of public consultations or when concerns need to be communicated regarding funding programs accessed by the presenting and touring sector.
- CAPACOA rallies the sector behind concerted efforts around key issues, such as taxation, labour mobility, or neighbouring rights.
- We also support your own advocacy activities with advocacy briefings, infographics and with recent data in our performing arts statistics page. You may call the office any time to get advice, help or information on advocacy issues.
Biennial Conference
- The conference brings together over 250 industry leaders and stakeholders working in the national and international performing arts sector.
- The event features exceptional speakers, presentations, performances and discussions. It is an incredible opportunity to learn, be inspired and connect with the national presenting and touring community.
- Members receive a discount of up to $100 dollars when registering for the conference.
- Members can honour performing arts professionals through the awards. The awards are presented to honor the accomplishments of presenters, artist representatives and performers in the previous seasons.

- e-newsletter: raises awareness of the sector, and keeps you up to date on advocacy, member news and key issues in our field;
- Members can use All Access to share their news as well.

Digital Discoverability / Open Data Strategy

- International Delegation Travel: CAPACOA continues to collaborate and partner within priority markets to generate the booking of tours, reciprocal development projects, and long-term bilateral relationships.
- International Delegation funding focuses on supporting Canadian Presenters, Artists, and Artistic Company member participants, alike.
- Booth Sharing in International Marketplaces: Agents, Artists, and Artistic Companies are invited to join the CAPACOA booths at major priority market events, offering financial accessibility to these international networking opportunites.
- International Online Cohorts & Networking: Online and hybrid programming is available to connect with representatives of priority markets
- International VISA & taxation advice: Access advice on challenging VISA processes, alongside the forms that are needed to apply.

National Network Meeting – (Network-Member Specific)
- CAPACOA hosts an annual meeting that gathers more than 20 presenting networks for two days of intensive dialogue. It focuses on identifying key priorities affecting the sector, and includes key conversations with national funding agencies and policy makers. Collective membership represented at this meeting is over 2000 arts organizations.
