Lynne Bailey was Executive Director of Prairie Debut since its inception in 1997 until her retirement in 2017. Based in Manitoba and incorporated in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, this non-profit organization regional touring network has thus far presented over 400 full length performances to communities of all sizes throughout the Prairie Provinces and in the Yukon. The goal of Prairie Debut has been twofold: to present professional Canadian world and classical music artists; and work collaboratively with existing provincial networks / organizations in the presentation of artistic excellence. Lynne previously held the position as Administrator of the Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition and has been active as a Board member for numerous arts organizations and Community Foundations in Manitoba.
