Online Panel at Edinburgh Fringe
March 28, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT
Join our panel of seasoned arts practitioners as we talk about some of the ideas and solutions that are being explored as we emerge into a new, inclusive arts community.
Over the past two years, as our world has lived through incredible turmoil and trauma, CAPACOA (Canadian Association for the Performing Arts / Association Canadienne Des Organismes Artistiques) has convened weekly conversations between artists and presenters from Canada and around the world. Exploring common themes of isolation, loneliness, and despair, we all agreed that the events happening around us were irrevocably changing the way we need to work as an artistic community. As our discussions grew, the common themes of hope, change, power, and action took shape as we talked about a future grounded in the notion of fairness, equality, and access.
