Data Governance in the Performing Arts: Findings and Dialogue
November 8, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm EST
Join Open North and the Linked Digital Future team to unpack key findings and lessons learned from our research on data governance in the performing arts. From charter documents to adopting principles that can guide the sector on their work on data sharing and open data, we will explore critical questions and we will define next next steps to foster data reuse in the performing arts sector.
This is a bilingual event. Simultaneous interpretation will be available.
The event is co-organized by CAPACOA, a national arts service organization for Canada’s performing arts sector, and Open North, a nonprofit organization specialized in data & tech governance for the public good, in collaboration with Mass Culture and Synapse C. CAPACOA leads the Linked Digital Future Initiative (LFDI) which deploys a range of research, prototyping and digital literacy activities to foster discoverability, digital collaboration and digital transformation in the performing arts.
