Peter Feldman was the founding Executive Director of CAPACOA, and served for 22 years. The 2013 NAC Award for Distinguished Contribution to Touring in the Performing Arts, recognized his achievements fostering a pan-Canadian live performing arts network, along with key programs, such as CAPF, and the Magnetic North Theatre Festival. Always active, he served as International Advisory Committee Member for the Esther Honens Piano Competition, President of the Cultural Trade Advisory Board, Director of the Cultural Human Resources Council, and as General Manager of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra. Officially retired since 2013, he has returned to performing music.
