Agents and Managers Gather for a Special Retreat

March 8, 2016 – At the invitation of CAPACOA, 12 agents and managers gathered in Cantley (QC) on March 4-6. This was a weekend where agents and managers could step away from their daily operations to think strategically about their practice.   Read more

Dialogue on International Taxation Begins with CRA

March 7, 2016 – The Performing Arts Tax Working Group met with representatives of the Canada Revenue Agency on March 2, nearly a year after the group's initial request. The meeting laid the grounds for a constructive dialogue between all parties.   Read more

Electronic Travel Authorization Comes Into Force

February 15, 2016 – Starting March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada will need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). This will include, of course, foreign artists touring in Canada.   Read more
